International Alphabet Decor
Trying to raise 2nd generation American/Finnish children comes with a lot of challenges. One in particular is trying to teach them a language that is not my mother tongue. So, where to start... how about with the alphabet. This weeks post covers an assortment of alphabet posters that would look great in any room of any house. I don't believe that you have to just put the fun stuff in the kids rooms. The first time I saw the Olunda alphabet poster it was in the kitchen of the apartment we rented in Turku. Whatever country you are relocating from it is always nice to have an alphabet poster up somewhere in a beautiful frame. It creates a sense of nostalgia, a conversation piece, and is a beautiful way to inspire your children to learn a second language. Let me know what you think.
