The Turku City Library is an inspiring place to be! It was refurbished in 2008 with a modern appeal. Some of the delightful things you will find include playful yet comfortable reading areas, fun windows that grace the floor and allow you to catch glimpses of books traveling to their department from the return desks, and my favorite, a case displaying a child's personal collection. Take a look!

| Storage Lockers. One thing I found to be really cool is that you have to swipe your library card in a devise to unlock the door the the restrooms! Very high techie! |
